Spring Break was busy for our FFA students. The week started with Willow Fuller showing her goat at the Houston Livestock Show. She placed 13th out of 60 and was able to make a sale which is a great accomplishment. We ended the week with 3 students showing their heifers in Houston. Landon Galyon placed 1st with his Shorthorn, Hudson Swinson placed 6th, and Cullen Davis competed in an extremely difficult Red Angus class and improved on his showmanship skills.

Reminder: All WCISD students and staff will have school on Friday, March 21st, 2025. WCISD has two five day weeks this school year, with this Friday being the first of the two. The second will be April 11th, 2025. Both days are considered school days and will count towards attendance. Thank you for making your student's attendance a priority!

All 8th grade students and families are invited to attend and informational meeting about graduation plans, course cards, and other details about the high school experience! The meeting will be held at Wolfe City High School cafeteria on Wednesday, March 19 beginning at 6:30 pm. We will have admin on hand to help you select your classes and grad plan details. Immediately following this, we will have another meeting about Pride Prep. If you missed the first meeting and/or want to see about joining Pride Prep for next year, you will not want to miss this! We will hand out calendars, deadlines, contact information, etc. so that you will have everything you need to become a member of the Pride Prep Cohort of 2029 with WCHS and ETAMU! If you have any questions about either of these meetings, please reach out to Joyce Sample (WCHS Principal) at samplej@wcisd.net or Natalie Smith (Academic Advisor) at natalie.smith@wcisd.net. We look forward to meeting you and supporting you with answers to your questions about high school, course options, and Pride Prep programming!

Help us welcome Natalie Smith back to WCHS as a contracted Academic Advisor! We are excited to serve our students and families together for the remainder of the year.

Let's join our Wolfe City Public Library at their open house on March 30th as they highlight their recent upgrades along with some light refreshments!
