RICK LOESCH, SUPERINTENDENT
Dr. Richard C. Loesch is in his
fourth
year as the superintendent of Wolfe City I.S.D. He is
entering his twenty-fifth year as a professional educator. In 1982,
Dr. Loesch received a BSE in All-level Physical Education
and Secondary History from Midwestern State University.
He received a M.Ed. from Tarleton State University in 1993.
In December 2006, he completed his doctorate from Texas A&M
University-Commerce in Secondary and Higher Education.
His dissertation was: Females who hold a Superintendent
Certification and have not become Superintendents.
Dr. Loesch is excited about
the opportunity for growth and motivation in Wolfe City.
"Wolfe City is a great place to live and work with children and
adults who value a rural education. The administrative
leadership and faculty direction are encouraging and there
is continued progressive development in the students and the
district."
During the 2006-2007 school year, the district was rated
Academically Acceptable.
Dr. Loesch believes in a
total program in which all children will be successful and
will eventually become positive influential ambassadors to
society.

"It should be the goal of every
educator
to assist students in unlocking the doors to success,
which
will eventually
lead to the discovery
of the keys that open new doors toward
life-long
learning."

Ed.D.
